Silent Glide
This project began with a personal desire to portray rowing beyond sporting performance alone. Alongside ACOO in Olivet, I sought to capture the atmosphere surrounding the effort, the rowers’ concentration and the almost silent sensation of gliding across the Loire.
The project developed halfway between a personal documentary approach and a collaboration with the club. My intention was to portray the practice from within, discreetly and as close as possible to the people who experience it.
